Someone tie my hands together so I can't type anymore, please!

So much for my blogging hiatus. I can't seem to stop posting. Well, this is my first real post. The other first one was pictures because Jess asked for them and the second one was a video. So this one doesn't count. Right? Ok, I'm shutting up now and going back to work on my book. I actually got a lot done with characters today while I was at the dentist. It was pretty sweet. Two hours all to myself with pen and paper. Oh, I guess Adam, the dental student was there, too. But it was a lot of paperwork stuff. I didn't actually have to open my mouth much. I just sat in the chair and worked on my characters for an idea I've been batting around my brain for a while. Ok, now I'm shutting up. I promise. Really. For a few days. Bye.

Isn't it nice to have a break with no little chillins every once in a while. Even if it is at the dentist. By the way, my 15 year old editor/son says you are slipping, you spelled, shutting up wrong. Oops. Like you really needed to hear that. Now I'm telling him to shut up and go to bed, ha ha.

what is it that pulls us back to the blog? we could schedule an intervention... if you want

Just think of it as a creative outlet. which will inspire more creativity.

Just flow with it instead of fight it. Then you won't feel guilty, which will reduce any negative feelings, which will help more with your writing.

You know, when I was typing it I saw that shut up was misspelled and I didn't care. I don't know why. Usually stuff like that bothers me. It was probably because I was heading off to bed and just wanted to go to sleep. Not edit.
Not sure if I want an intervention. Ok, I know I don't want one, I love blogging! It really is a creative outlet and a stress reliever for me. Without it I wouldn't be able to find the humor in many situations as a mother. I just really need to get these manuscripts out, so I guess I'm trying to make more time for "work" writing since I could easily blog all day. But I love my other writing, too, and could do it all day as well.

Wow. You were really able to work on characters while at the dentist? I'm impressed. Every time I hear that high squeal, my teeth hurt and my mind goes mush. The dentist's office isn't high on my list of places to be inspired. :)
