A Dentist's Son

Jeremy will have the cleanest teeth ever. The kid can't walk down the hallway without stopping at the bathroom door, pounding on it, and yelling, "Teeth!" It's a good thing his dad is going to be a dentist, at least he'll have one parent that is excited about the tooth-brushing craze. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that he likes to brush his teeth. It's better than how I was as a kid. My parents had to hold me down and shove the toothbrush in my mouth. So I'm not ungrateful that the Lord has blessed me with an bathroom-habits easy kid. It's just that it gets old when it's the fifth or sixth time and we haven't even had lunch yet.

He's like a mini Nathan, seriously, does he look like his baby pictures?

Nathan doesn't think so. But today at the doctor's office, Dr. McKenna said that Jeremy looks like a little Nathan.

I hope we get more than just free toothpaste. He's got to have the free toothbrushes and floss, too.

Yes! We are moving in June. I have a cousin getting married in Las Vegas and we will drive down for the wedding. Then I will fly back to Texas with the kids and my parents and siblings. Nathan will drive back up to SLC and pick up his dad, then drive back to Logan, pack the U-Haul, and then drive to Cleveland, Ohio. I will fly with the kids to Cleveland a week or so later, hopefully with one of my parents or my brother so I don't have to fly with three kids all by myself.

that's a lot of driving!

It is a lot of driving. We weren't planning on attending the wedding until a month ago. My dad called and said if we went that I could fly down with them and that way they could have time with the grandkids. It will probably be their first time seeing Emma since they won't be coming up like they did for Jeremy. We were always planning on me and the kids getting to Cleveland separate from Nathan. He and his dad driving, me and the kids flying. We considered taking a train, actually. We might still. I don't know.
