Love List #4 or I Pledge Allegiance to Thee, Texas, One and Indivisible

I love Texas. I was born and raised there and want to get back as soon as I can.
I am one of those Texas people that has a lot of Texas pride.
I love it when I find things that are named after Texas.
Food is the most common, I think.

Nathan and his dad make fun of me for saying the Texas pledge (and yes, I am aware that the title of the post is from the older version of the pledge, it's the one I grew up with). But guess what. I'm gonna teach it to my kiddos.
I'm going to instill Texas pride into them.
Wanna know why?
Because Ohio sucks
and
Utah is cold.

I was born in Texas, College Station to be exact - (GO AGGIES) and now live in Pennsylvania. Ohio does suck, although it is my neighbor, and Utah, well, I think the hair speaks volumes...literally. although texas hair is much bigger. but bigger IS better. :)

Ha, ha! Loved this post. Glad you take pride in your roots. I'm an Idaho gal myself and will always love the Gem State.

I've actually lived in Texas. I'm an army brat and my dad was stationed there when I was young. All I remember about it is the Texas sized bugs, especially spiders. I hate spiders, but liked everything else about it.

Great Post!!

Yes, Utah is cold, and Ohio does, indeed, suck. Help me convice Summer to move to Texas when we're done with this residency stuff. Yay San Antonio!
