Megan's Cake Recipe

Today while I was taking a nap, Megan was pretending to make a cake with Jeremy. They got out mixing bowls, measuring spoons, measuring cups, and baby spoons. Megan told Jeremy they needed one cup of oil. Nathan wondered what other ingredients would be necessary for Megan's cake. Here is the recipe she told him:

Megan's Cake

1 cup oil
1½ cup sugar
1 carrot
4 cups flour
1 tsp guacamole
1 egg
4 tsp milk

Put all these in a bowl. Stir them together. Put the bowl in the microwave. Cook for 4 minutes. Put it in the oven for 6 minutes. Pour a glass of milk to drink. Eat the cake and drink the milk.

She's going to be our own little Ratatouille chef.

mmmmm. sounds pretty good, if I was pregnant. That's so cute that she came up with a recipe and everything.

She is always pretending to make cakes, but this was her first time telling us what actually was going into her "cake." She started making another one this morning and this is the ingredient list:

3 oz. sugar
broccoli (8)
carrots
oil (4 1/2)
ice cream
1 cup of spoonful of milk

As for the measurements, I'm not sure what the 8, 4.5 and cup of spoonful are supposed to be, but oh well.

This is from Megan:

Megan's Strawberry Cake, Jeremy's Cake, too.

Put milk, add sugar, add oil, carrots, blueberries.

Bake in the oven for 4 days and microwave for 1 minute.

Sprinkle broccoli and more sugar on top. Now eat!

Yippie! We made a cake!

Ok, Kellie again. Interesting that Megan's Strawberry Cake doesn't contain strawberries. . . .
