On Friday Nathan decided we all needed to get out of the apartment (we did, we were all suffering from cabin fever). Only problem was, it wasn't really a nice day out. We persevered and drove for almost an hour to go mini-golfing. All the places near us are kind of ghetto, so when we do stuff like this, we drive pretty far to find a nice place.
It rained the entire time we were there. Sometimes it got pretty heavy, but most of the time it was fairly light.
Here are a few pictures to document the event.
I forgot to mention earlier when I posted it that when we showed up and saw that the course was half covered in water, the guy working the course charged us half-price. Then, he still felt so bad for us that he brought out a pass for 4 free games! It was awesome! All I could think was, We chose to come here in the rain. Why are you rewarding us for that? Then when we were done playing they have a box with a special hole where you drop your golf balls. If you're lucky a computerized voice tells you you've won a prize and a little ticket comes out. Nathan was the first to put his golf ball in the box. I'm sorry, you are a loser. That is basically what it said. It called him a loser. Then Megan, Jeremy, and I put our golf balls in and we all won. This of course made Nathan's loser status even funnier. Megan won a free half hour of tee time (which Nathan will be using), Jeremy won a free bag of chips, and I won a free soda. So we decided next time we go we will make sure it's sunny, use one of our free games, our free bag of chips, and our free soda. Wahoo!
